Making the Middle East Food: Mahbus

Every part in the world has their special food. Whenever we are talking about food from Middle East, it is for sure cannot be separated with Mahbus. If you are willing to know about what mahbus is and also how to cook it, you can read this article until finish. Before making this food, it is better for you to know about the ingredients. The ingredients for making this food are 200 g chopped onion, 2 tablespoons butter, Turmeric powder 1 tsp, Diced chicken breasts 500 g, Tomatoes 400 gr,Cloves 4 points, Leather lemon grated 1 / 2 tsp, 3 Cinnamon sticks, Cardamom fruit 7, 4 tsp Salt, Water 700 ml, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 2 tbsp chopped Parsley. The consideration of the measurement is depending on how much Mahbus will be served. If it is very much so you need to add the ingredient by having the same comparison as the above measurement.

After knowing about the ingredients the next step is about understanding the process of making Mahbus. First, boil the tomatoes and peel skin. Then, heat the pan and saute the onion in the butter until wilted. Then put baharat and turmeric, stir it until evenly for three minutes. After that enter the cube-shaped chicken, stirring until the color is blended. Then add the tomatoes,orange peel, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, salt and water. Then reheat over low heat for half an hour. Add rice, cilantro leaves plus parsley, and mix well.Continue to heat over low heat until slightly thickened about 25 minutes,stirring occasionally and lift. The last is boil water in a saucepan, put rice dough, and then steamed until cooked about half an hour. After that, remove and let stand for 10 minutes. Place on a platter and serve with Mahbus.
